What is the Speciality of Kedarnath temple?

A conical rock formation inside the temple is worshipped as Lord Shiva in his Sadashiva form. In Hindu tradition, it is believed that Lord Shiva manifested in form of Jyotirlingam or the cosmic light. There are 12 such Jyotirlingas and Kedarnath is highest among them.

The below are the travel details for the temple

Since we were the last ones in the temple, the priest spend a lot of time with us in performing the puja. We were very satisfied with the puja that the priest performed. Best thing was that we were allowed to touch the Shiv Linga and do the puja ourselves which is not very common in other holy shrines in India.
